Custom Voyages

Even though anyone reading this at this point is probably either a friend, client, or lost, I feel like I need to introduce myself. 

My name is Jennifer Jackson.  I am 36, and have been married for the last 12+ years to the man who has been my best friend since I was 7.  After having lived many places during my life, I currently live outside Portland, OR, where I hope to stay.  I have a house, and 2 cats.  I have family all over the country, and I travel to see them regularly.

More to the point for this blog, I am the owner of Custom Voyages LLC.  Started in 2002, Custom Voyages is a small travel agency designed to emphasize personal service.  I specialize in groups, and in traveling to art and culture destinations.

Like the relative who only gives gifts they personally like, my specialties are the things I like to do.  I have a Bachelor’s in History, with a minor in Anthropology specializing in Archaeology.  I love art, dance, music, and theatre, and love to travel to experience all those things.  I also love traveling with my family and friends.

This blog is my attempt to share my love of travel with you.  My plan is to tell you where I’ve been, where I’m going, and where I *wish* I could go.  (Ask anyone who knows me – nearly everything falls into one of those categories.)
